Ben Stein Has It Right!

The  following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS  Sunday  Morning  Commentary.

My confession:  

I don't like getting pushed around for being a  Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for  being Christians.  I think people who believe in God are  sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.  I have no  idea where the concept came from, that America is an explicitly  atheist country.  I can't find it in the Constitution and I  don't like it being shoved down my throat...  (I would like to add that the 2 mentioned groups are just 2 of many other God believing groups!)

Or maybe I  can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we  should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God  as we understand Him?  I guess that's a sign that I'm  getting old, too.  But there are a lot of us who are  wondering where these celebrities came from and where the   America we knew went to. 

In light of the many jokes we  send to one another for a laugh, this is a little  different:  This is not intended to be a joke; it's not  funny, it's intended to get you thinking.      In  light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings,  etc..  I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she  was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she  didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.  Then  someone said you better not read the Bible in school...   The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and  love your neighbor as yourself.  And we said  OK. (I would like to add that the bible isn't the only religious text banned!)

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our  children when they misbehave, because their little personalities  would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr.  Spock's son committed suicide).  We said an expert should  know what he's talking about..  And we said  okay..

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have  no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it  doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and  themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard  enough, we can figure it out.  I think it has a great deal  to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.' 

Funny how simple it is  for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to  hell.  Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but  question what the Bible says.  Funny how you can send  'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when  you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think  twice about sharing.  Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and  obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public  discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.  

Are you laughing yet? 

Funny how when you forward  (or in this case, share!) this message, you will not send it to many on your address list  because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will  think of you for sending it. 

Funny how we can be more  worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks  of us.

Yet ANOTHER Example For NOT Vaccinating Your Child

Study: 97 percent of children affected by 2009 mumps outbreak were vaccinated for condition

(NaturalNews) More evidence has emerged showing the complete failure of modern vaccines to provide any real protection against disease. A recent study published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) reveals that an astounding 97 percent of children affected by a mumps outbreak that swept the Northeast back in 2009 had already been vaccinated for the condition in accordance with recommended government guidelines.

According to the study, 3,502 children of primarily Orthodox Jewish upbringing developed mumps between June 28, 2009, and June 27, 2010, as a result of an unusual "face-to-face" educational method used at certain all-boys Jewish schools throughout the New York and New Jersey areas. Among those affected by the outbreak, 97 percent were said to be Orthodox Jewish persons, and nearly one-third were between the ages of 13 and 17.

After confirming 1,648 cases of infection using clinical specimens, the research team that compiled the study determined that 89 percent of all those who contracted mumps as a result of the outbreak had already been vaccinated at least twice for mumps, presumably with the controversial measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) combination vaccine that has been implicated in causing gastrointestinal disorders and autism. Another eight percent of the group had reportedly received only one dose of the mumps vaccine.

When combined, these percentages translate into a 97 percent vaccination rate among all those affected by the mumps outbreak, leaving only three percent unconfirmed as having ever been vaccinated. What this means, of course, is that the MMR vaccine was essentially useless in conferring protection in this case, at least as far as mumps is concerned, and that parents would do well to think twice about administering this toxic vaccine to their children.

"The epidemiologic features of this outbreak suggest that intense exposures, particularly among boys in schools, facilitated transmission and overcame vaccine-induced protection in these patients," wrote the authors in their conclusion, basically admitting that the mumps vaccine provides no real protection against the disease.

MMR vaccine actually damages natural immunity, increases risk of disease contraction

But what exactly constitutes "intense exposure" anyway, and how is this really any different than common exposure? In an apparent effort to rationalize away the findings, some reports have suggested that because the group most affected was "boys in schools," this particular outbreak was somehow unusual and atypical, and not indicative of the effectiveness of vaccines on a larger scale. But in reality, the findings show quite the opposite -- that vaccines actually increase the risk of disease transmission.

Only a very small percentage of those affected by the outbreak, eight percent, had received one vaccination dose for mumps, while the vast majority of the rest had received at least two doses. This suggests that those who received two doses of MMR were actually more likely than those who received just one to contract the disease. Next to that, only a very small fraction of the remaining cases were unaccounted for, which suggests unvaccinated individuals actually had the highest levels of immune protection during the outbreak.

The takeaway from all this is that the "herd immunity" concept we are constantly told is necessary to prevent disease outbreaks is absolute bunk. If anything, vaccinated children are the ones most responsible for spreading disease during an outbreak, as the viral components delivered to their bodies through vaccines are shed onto primarily immunocompromised individuals, who just so happen to be other vaccinated individuals. There is simply no other way to validly interpret these and other similar findings in recent years, which only further prove that vaccines are neither safe nor effective.

As you can see from the chart, published by a University of Hawaii researcher, governments are the No. 1 leading cause of (non-natural) death in the world.

This is especially true of rogue governments such as governments that strip away citizens' rights, just like Obama did when he signed the NDAA.

COLORADO MASSACRE LINKED TO HISTORIC BANK FRAUD

A highly disturbing Ministry of Finance report on the largest bank fraud in history that is circulating in the Kremlin today warns that it is “within the realm of possibility” that the shocking movie massacre in Colorado this past week is but another“integral part” in the deliberate plan put in place by Western banking elites and their allies to collapse the global economy.

The massacre cited in this report is being referred to as the “2012 Aurora Shooting” wherein suspect James Holmes is purported to have opened fire during the playing of a movie killing 12 and injuring 58 in one of the worst mass shootings in recent US history.

Interestingly, this report notes, James Holmes is extremely intelligent, a gifted scientist and grew up in an affluent neighborhood; an eerie similarity he shares with other noted American killers of the past 3 decades including Andrew Cunanan, John Gardner, John Hinckley, Timothy McVeigh, Ted Kaczynski, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

Most important to note about James Holmes, however, this report says, is that his father, Robert Holmes, was said to have been scheduled to testify within the next few weeks before a US Senate panel on the largest bank fraud scandal in world history that is currently unfolding and threatens to destabilize and destroy the Western banking system.

Robert Holmes, whose “blueblood” family links go back to the Mayflower, is known throughout the global banking community as being the creator of one of the most sophisticated computer algorithms ever developed and is credited with developing predictive models for financial services; credit and fraud risk models, first and third party application fraud models and internet/online banking fraud models.

Educated at the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University, Robert Holmes is currently the senior lead scientist with the American credit score company FICO, which was formally known as Fair, Isaac and Company, and which every American citizen is beholden to should they need to borrow money.

The massive banking crime being investigated by the US Senate is called the LIBOR Scandal where UK banks fixed theLondon Interbank Borrowing Rate with the complicity of the Bank of England, the US Federal Reserve (which knew about this crime for 4 years and didn’t report it) and many other major Western banks.

Not known to the majority of those affected by this LIBOR rate scandal (which is everyone in the world) is that its historically low setting of interests rates since the beginning of the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2012 has done more to destroy the life savings, stock investments and retirements of Americas middle class than any other single event in their entire history.

Even worse, according to this report, Holmes recently completed his work on what is called one of the most sophisticated computer algorithms ever developed that not only uncovered the true intent of this massive fraud, but is, also, able to trace the Trillions of Dollars “lost” to the exact bank accounts of the elite classes who have stolen it.

Ministry intelligence officials note in this report that it is “no coincidence” that this Colorado massacre occurred within minutes of London’s Guardian News Service releasing their shocking report this past Saturday (21 July) titled “Wealth Doesn't trickle Down – It Just Floods Offshore, Research Reveals” as Robert Holmes algorithms were said used to discover this massive fraud scheme.

Equally curious to note about this massacre is that the American intelligence website TheIntelHub.Com in their 23 July article titled “Hallmarks of a False Flag: Colorado University Held Identical Drill on Same Day as Aurora Theater Mass Shooting, Mind Control, and Multiple Suspects” states that just mere hours before this shocking crime was committed the Rocky VistaUniversity College of Osteopathic Medicine was holding an identical drill that simulated a shooter in a movie theater.

The popular InfoWars.Com website further notes that “false flag” events such as the Colorado massacre are actively planned for by the US Army as noted in their training manual titled “Foreign Internal Defense Tactics Techniques and Procedures for Special Forces”.

Even though the true objective of this massacre was may never be known, it is more than interesting to note that some in the“mainstream” US media are not accepting the “official line,” such as Fox News reporter Ben Swann from their WXIX-FOX19 station out of Cincinnati, Ohio, who asks:

“Why did Holmes go to the expense and trouble of rigging his apartment with an array of deadly explosives and then immediately tell police about the bombs when he was arrested? If Holmes wanted to kill as many people as possible, why warn the cops ahead of time?

Given the fact that Holmes was a graduate student in neuroscience, where did he obtain the skills to create a maze of bombs so complex that it took the FBI two days to disarm them? According to experts, the intricacy of the bombs was reminiscent of war zones – how could Holmes have set all this up without help from an explosives expert?

Despite police claiming “every single indicator” tells them the shooting was a lone wolf attack, numerous witnesses have described accomplices. Initial police reports that suggested the involvement of two or more shooters were quickly buried and the lone wolf narrative aggressively pushed.

As Swann points out, eyewitnesses interviewed after the shooting such as Corbin Dates state that Holmes received a phone call from someone while he was inside the theater and responded by moving to the emergency exit, suggesting the call was an accomplice coordinating the attack.

Dates also said he saw Holmes by the exit door “signaling somebody or looking for somebody to come his way.

Another eyewitness added, “From what we saw he wasn’t alone – he had someone with him. Because the second can of tear gas didn’t come from his side.”

It's Time To Show The Liberal Socialists The REAL Truth Behind Gun Statistics

After each mass gun shooting, especially the Sandy Hook school incident last week, the liberal socialists (including the mainstream media) who want to do away with Americans 2nd amendment right to bear arms away, use these shootings to pass legislation (or try to in some cases) to do just that....disarm us and make us even more helpless and at the mercy of those who are armed.
Now, I can just hear some of you saying, well if it's law that NOBODY can have guns, then you won't be anyone's mercy, cause no one will have them. To those of you who think this, you live in la-la-land and need a wake up call! Crooks and bad guys, by the very definition of the words describing them...don't care about nor follow laws! THEY WILL HAVE GUNS....period. They will be able to get them even easier than it is now, as the minute you pass a law banning guns, the black market will flourish even more and the influx of weapons will grow exponentially. And with this, we will see even more mass shootings as the bad guys will be basically assured that there will be absolutely no resistance! Right now, the bad guys know that there is some chance that someone may be carrying, so they choose places where they know there isn't anyone armed like schools. But take away ALL rights to be armed and there will be a field day for the bad guys. And then there will be more mass shootings, and it won't be contained to just a few places.
Now, I can just hear some of you saying, well there will be armed law enforcement officers who will protect us! My answer to that is....where was that protection at Columbine, Wakefield Massacre, Amish School in Lancaster, Carthage Nursing home, Virginia Tech, Lockheed Martin, Fort Hood, USPS shooting in Edmond, OK, Dallas Nightclub and the Tuscon shooting last year (just to mention a few)? Armed law enforcement officers protecting us in these situations is a myth. They only arrive at the scene (in 99.9% of the cases) AFTER the bad guy has completed his mission and have to CLEAN UP the results!
I also want to point out this....what is to stop our own government from becoming the bad guy with us being unarmed? What would have happened in 1776 if all of our forefathers & mothers weren't armed? Do you honestly think the ARMED British soldiers wouldn't have used their weapons anyways? A tyrannical government doesn't care and when a country's population is unarmed and can't protect themselves against tyrannical governmental leaders (oh my! Dishonest, controlling politicians????) it makes them even more susceptible to their tyranny! This was considered self-evident by our founding fathers and is why we have the 2nd amendment in the first place!
What I would like to know is WHEN it became un-American or BAD to properly protect oneself by being armed? When did a big number of the American people decide that it's ok to leave our 2nd amendment in the hands of armed enforcement officers and government officials and let them take care of us? Let's take a look at a country who greatly influenced our founding fathers and their reasoning (other than our own revolution) behind writing the 2nd amendment.... Switzerland. One of the few nations with a higher per capita rate of gun ownership than the United States, Switzerland has virtually no gun crime. "Switzerland is a nation with every household owning and routinely training firearms of every kind and calibre. From handguns to semi-automatic "assault" rifles, the Swiss are armed and secure, and not hindered or impeded by gun laws and unnecessary regulation. Not surprisingly, Switzerland has one of the lowest rates of gun crime in the industrial world with low levels of robbery, assault with a weapon and rape when compared to disarmed countries like the UK and portions of the United States". The answer to our problems with mass shootings is NOT to disarm the GOOD guys....it's to not only arm them, but also TRAIN them on how to properly use their weapons! There goes the socialistic liberals argument (like Spartanburg County Councilman Michael Brown) that "this is just the opportunity for people who are not trained law enforcement officials, people who do not have extensive training and the experience, to handle weapons". Brown likened the increasing number of citizens exercising their right-to-carry to the “wild wild West,” and expressed hope in “letting cooler heads prevail” and that pro-comments on our right-to-carry as “irresponsible, irreprehensible [sic] and… incendiary." Seems Brown would prefer citizens to rely on the “cooler heads” of armed robbers, convicted felons and after the fact law enforcement officers! Despite all the guns, the murder rate is a small fraction of the American rate, and is less than the rate in Canada or England, which strictly control guns, or in Japan, which virtually prohibits them. The gun crime rate is so low that statistics are not even kept. It is not Switzerland's cultural makeup, or its gun policies per se, that explain that low crime rate. Rather, it is the emphasis on community duty, of which gun ownership is the most important part, that best explains low crime rate". And our fore fathers understood this and is why they found it so fundamentally important to secure this, that they made it the SECOND amendment, right after securing our right to freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and to petition our government for a redress of grievances!
And to say, well...ok...you can own weapons, but not anything bigger than a handgun or rifle... I wish to point out that those are measly and ineffective against a bad guy's assault weapon and not protective in any way! We need to be able to meet fire with fire...not a lighted match!
Those Americans who think that "We the People" shouldn't be able to have weapons... need to not own them...but leave the rest of us who believe we should, rights alone. It just may save their lives, or someone else's whom they love!

Eric Holder Says We Must Brainwash People Against Guns

Tragedy In Connecticut Is Example Why Gun Control Doesn't Work!

There has been a horrendous mass shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.   At this time, 27 people are reported dead, most of them children.
This shooting is yet another tragic example of the failed, grotesque insistence on helpless victim zones where any crazed gunman can be assured of a large number of disarmed, undefended, helpless victims, all crammed into one place, where he can kill many children before an armed defender arrives from elsewhere.  It is disturbing and sick that the federal government so hates the right of the American people to bear arms, and so hates their natural right to self defense, that the government insists on making them helpless, disarmed victims for anyone who cares to kill them.   And in this case, all of the teachers and staff were willfully disarmed by the Federal Government, by force of law and threat of prison, to ensure that they would be disarmed and incapable of saving the lives of the children entrusted to their care.

That makes the Federal Government complicit in the deaths of these children, and in fact an accessory to their mass murder, by forcibly disarming (with the very real threat of prison) all the teachers, all the staff, and any parent who may have been on school property.  That stupid law guaranteed the shooters would meet no immediate armed resistance, which is exactly what is needed to stop such an attack.

In such a shooting (as in every criminal attack), seconds count, and the people best positioned to stop the attack are the people on the scene - the intended victims and/or their care-takers.  In this case, that would mean the teachers and staff of the school, and also the parents, who should have the ability to save the lives of their own children as they take them to and from school.

The police cannot, and do not arrive in time to stop such shooters from killing large numbers of people.  They are a slow reactive force compared to an armed citizen on the scene.   This should be common sense, as it is obvious that in the immediacy of a criminal attack, it is the intended victims (or their immediate care-takers) who are there, in position to put a stop to the attack, if they are capable.  And being capable means being armed, trained, willing, and able to use deadly force, right then, right there.  Anything less leads to what we saw here.

But no doubt the rabid anti-gun government supremacists will use this to further their agenda to disarm the American people, totally ignoring that obvious, plain-as-day truth.   Anti-gun nuts trust the government with guns, but not the people, and insist that the lowly citizen must be disarmed and helpless in the face of murderous assault, and must wait on slow responding armed government employees, who will not be there when the attack starts, and most often can only really clean up the horrendous crime scene afterwards and maybe, just maybe apprehend a shooter who has chosen not to kill himself (as they usually do).

The bottom line is that these teachers and staff at the Sandy Hook Elementary School were incapable of keeping these children safe, and incapable of defending them.  And one of the biggest reasons they were so incapable and unprepared to save the lives of the children entrusted to their care is because the anti-gun nuts and their fellow travelers in government insisted on disarming every adult in the vicinity, by threatening them with prison time – EXCEPT the gunmen, who don’t care about the law and thus were not disarmed.    laws against carrying weapons in schools don’t stop evil men with murderous intent.  Such laws only disarm the law abiding and virtuous, who are now rendered incompetent to defend the precious children in their care.

This is disgusting.  And yet another reason to home-school.  Why would you want to leave your children helpless, in the hands of adults who are  themselves helpless, and incapable of defending them, by government decree?  For all we know, one of the teachers may have been a veteran, with the training and skill to use a firearm if one had been available.  But all the teachers and staff, whatever their ability with firearms, were stripped of the choice and chance to save the lives of these kids.

There are more good guys than bad guys in the world.  But the good guys need to be able to stop the bad guys, and that means  they need to be armed so they can stop the bad guys on the spot, without having to wait for “official” government approved good guys to respond.  Trust the teachers with arms so they can save the lives of their students.

Until the adults are allowed to actually act like adults, and defend themselves and their students, this kind of willful killing will continue to happen, and the federal government will in each case be a guilty party to the conspiracy by ensuring that the targets are disarmed.
Until this changes, you should refuse to give your children over to government schools lorded over by a Federal Government so callous and indifferent to their safety and lives.

Supreme Court Revives ObamaCare Fight

The U.S. Supreme Court granted Liberty Counsel’s Petition for Rehearing in the ObamaCare case of Liberty University et al v. Geithner. 

 

The High Court’s ruling says that Liberty Counsel’s “Day in Court” against ObamaCare is far from over!  In fact, it’s just beginning – again – at the federal appellate level. 

 

With their recent ruling, the Supreme Court directed that our case be reheard at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia. 

 

++ObamaCare MUST be struck down!

 

Congress clearly exceeded its power by forcing every employer to provide federally mandated insurance. But even more shocking is the abortion mandate, which collides with constitutional guarantees of religious freedom and rights of conscience. 

 

Also in question is whether the First Amendment Free Exercise of Religion Clause and the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) have been violated by both the employer and the individual “abortion mandate” that has been exposed during ObamaCare’s implementation.

 

++How we got another shot at taking down ObamaCare in court.

 

The fact that a highly technical and narrow ruling by the Supreme Court in June of this year found the President’s healthcare “reform” law to be permissible under the Constitution as a tax did not settle the issues contained in our original lawsuit. The Court ruled (wrongly in my opinion) that Congress has the authority to pass the individual mandate as a tax.

 

But many issues were not decided that were contained in our case that was pending at the Supreme Court. That was why I felt we must file a petition for rehearing, and is likely the reason why the Supreme Court ordered the federal court of appeals to hear our arguments.

 

The legal battle against ObamaCare is among the most historic pieces of litigation ever fought in the United States federal judiciary – and Liberty Counsel’s lawsuit is now on the forefront of all judicial efforts to have the law overturned! 

 

This may well pave the way for the case to return to the High Court in 2013 – before the law’s full implementation in 2014.

Now our case has been given new life!

Chris Christie Won't Do Health Care Exchanges in New Jersey

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie vetoed a bill setting up health care exchanges:

Gov. Chris Christie vetoed legislation establishing a state-run health insurance exchange on Thursday, blaming the federal government for failing to provide the answers he said he needs to make a fiscally sound decision on the best way to comply with the Affordable Care Act.

The governor said he has not eliminated any of the options available to states to comply with the national health care overhaul. But, he said it would be irresponsible to choose one over the others   without knowing the costs of each.

“New Jersey and all other states still await substantial federal guidance on the functioning of all three types of exchanges,” Christie said in his veto message. “To be sure, the decision of whether to move forward with a state-based exchange can only be fully understood when competitively compared to the overall value of the other options.”  

I would suggest there is only one answer to making ObamaCare "fiscally sound."

Don't do it.
