WANT A FREE HOUSE ?

(This is a lesson for the hood winked.)

I was in my neighborhood restaurant this morning and was seated behind a group of jubilant individuals celebrating the coming implementation of the health care bill. I could not finish my breakfast. This is what ensued: They were a diverse group of several races and both sexes. I heard a young man exclaim, "Isn't Obama like Jesus Christ? I mean, after all, he is healing the sick."

A young woman enthusiastically proclaimed, "Yeah, and he does it for free. I cannot believe anyone would think that a free market wouldn't work for health care."

Another said, "The stupid Republicans want us all to starve to death so they can inherit all of the power. Obama should be made a Saint for what he did for those of us less fortunate."

At this, I had more than enough. I arose from my seat, mustering all the restraint I could find, and approached their table. "Please excuse me; may I impose upon you for one moment?"

They smiled and welcomed me to the conversation. I stood at the end of their table, smiled as best I could and began an experiment.

"I would like to give one of you my house. It will cost you no money and I will pay all of the expenses and taxes for as long as you live there. Anyone interested?"

They looked at each other in astonishment. "Why would you do something like that?" asked a young man, "There isn't anything for free in this world." They began to laugh at me, as they did not realize this man had just made my point.

"I am serious, I will give you my house for free, no money whatsoever. Anyone interested?"

In unison, a resounding "Yeah" fills the room.
"Since there are too many of you, I will have to make a choice as to who receives this money-free bargain."

I noticed an elderly couple was paying attention to the spectacle unfolding before their eyes, the old man shaking his head in apparent disgust.

"I tell you what; I will give it to the one of you most willing to obey my rules."

Again, they looked at one another, an expression of bewilderment on their faces.

The perky young woman asked, "What are the rules?"

I smiled and said, "I don't know. I have not yet defined them. However, it is a free home that I offer you."

They giggled amongst themselves, the youngest of which said, "What an old coot. He must be crazy to give away his home. Go take your meds, old man."

I smiled and leaned into the table a bit further. "I am serious, this is a legitimate offer."

They gaped at me for a moment.

"I'll take it you old fool. Where are the keys?" boasted the youngest among them.

"Then I presume you accept ALL of my terms then?" I asked.

The elderly couple seemed amused and entertained as they watched from the privacy of their table. "Oh yeah! Where do I sign up?"

I took a napkin and wrote, "I give this man my home, without the burden of financial obligation, so long as he accepts and abides by the terms that I shall set forth upon consummation of this transaction."

I signed it and handed it to the young man who eagerly scratched out his signature.

"Where are the keys to my new house?" he asked in a mocking tone of voice.

All eyes were upon us as I stepped back from the table, pulling the keys from pocket and dangling them before the excited new homeowner.

"Now that we have entered into this binding contract, witnessed by all of your friends, I have decided upon the conditions you are obligated to adhere to from this point forward. You may only live in the house for one hour a day. You will not use anything inside of the home. You will obey me without question or resistance. I expect complete loyalty and admiration for this gift I bestow upon you. You will accept my commands and wishes with enthusiasm, no matter the nature. Your morals and principles shall be as mine. You will vote as I do, think as I do and do it with blind faith. These are my terms. Here are your keys." I reached the keys forward and the young man looked at me dumbfounded.

"Are you out of your mind? Who would ever agree to those ridiculous terms?" the young man appeared irritated.

"You did when you signed this contract before reading it, understanding it and with the full knowledge that I would provide my conditions only after you committed to the agreement."

The elderly man chuckled as his wife tried to restrain him. I was looking at a now silenced and bewildered group of people.

"You can shove that stupid deal up your a** old man. I want no part of it!" exclaimed the now infuriated young man.

'You have committed to the contract, as witnessed by all of your friends. You cannot get out of the deal unless I agree to it. I do not intend to let you free now that I have you ensnared. I am the power you agreed to. I am the one you blindly and without thought chose to enslave yourself to. In short, I am your Master."

At this, the table of celebrating individuals became a unified group against the unfairness of the deal.

After a few moments of unrepeatable comments and slurs, I revealed my true intent.

"What I did to you is what this administration and congress did to you with the health care legislation. I easily suckered you in and then revealed the real cost of the bargain. Your folly was in the belief that you can have something you did not earn, and for that which you did not earn, you willingly allowed someone else to think for you. Your failure to research, study and inform yourself permitted reason to escape you. You have entered into a trap from which you cannot flee. Your only chance of freedom is if your new Master gives it to you. A freedom that is given can also be taken away. Therefore, it is not freedom at all."

With that, I tore up the napkin and placed it before the astonished young man. "This is the nature of your new health care legislation."

I turned away to leave these few in thought and contemplation -- and was surprised by applause.

The elderly gentleman, who was clearly entertained, shook my hand enthusiastically and said, "Thank you, Sir. These kids don't understand Liberty ."

He refused to allow me to pay my bill as he said, "You earned this one. It is an honor to pick up the tab."

I shook his hand in thanks, leaving the restaurant somewhat humbled and sensing a glimmer of hope for my beloved country.

Pro-Lifers' Double Standards

Ok...here's another un-politically correct blog post.
I'm really sick and tired of receiving emails from so called "pro-life" organizations about federal funds being used to fund abortions....but yet they complain when federal funds are to be withheld from any state that discriminates against a hospital, insurance provider, or individual doctors and nurses for refusing to participate in abortion! It's quite ok to federally fund those who won't give a legal form of medical service but not ok to federally fund those who do! That my dear reader...is MEDICAL DOUBLE STANDARDS!

I say that abortion should be put back into the medical arena where it belongs. Take it out of the political, religious and morality arenas and put it into the medical sector where it's between the patient and their doctor and no one else's business!
If you believe that life starts at conception...than that's YOUR belief to have. But you have no right to force your belief upon others!
If your religious belief is that it's wrong to have an abortion, then don't have one. But you have no right to force your religious belief upon others!
If you believe that your tax money shouldn't pay for a medical service that you don't believe in, well I say, welcome to the real world because I have no children in school, but I'm taxed to support an educational system that I don't use! My point is, our taxes pay for things that we don't necessarily agree with or use all the time...get over it!
Like it or not....abortion is LEGAL. As it should be because it's a MEDICAL situation between a woman and her doctor and she has the right to decide how to handle it...period! Your moral and religious beliefs are for YOU and has no right to interfere with another's. I'm really sick and tired of hearing all this religious double standards that it's NOT ok for anyone to interfere with your religious belief system but it's ok for your religious belief system to interfere with other's lives and make decisions for them when they contradict your beliefs!
If federal funds are wrong to fund medical entities that perform a legal medical service then it is also wrong to fund medical entities that refuse to perform that same legal medical service! Then all this starts going down a slippery slope. Because where do you draw the line? 
In some religions, it's not kosher to circumcise baby boys, so should that medical service be done away with? And I don't want to hear, well circumcision is quite different from LIFE...a baby. Well once again, I'll reiterate...that's YOUR belief...whether it be moral or religious, and not necessarily another's. And just because you define life differently, doesn't give you the right to define it for someone else. Life, to be life, as we understand it has to have viability. Viability is being able to live outside the uterus and sustain itself. Until the fetus can do that, it has no life. And an embryo has no capability to be viable at all. So, when you apply your moral and/or religious belief about life before the embryo/fetus can actually sustain it, you give it properties it cannot actually be attributed to have. And once again, it's YOUR religious morality that is assigning these properties and there's absolutely no proof that this is the correct deduction. In fact, there IS physical proof that an eight week old embryo CAN'T sustain viability. 

So what it boils down to is this: Stop making this anyone else's business except that of the patient and the doctor and keep your frigging nose out of other people's business and stop whining about funding LEGAL medical services! It is NONE of YOUR business what others do with their medical decisions. Who the frick died and made YOU God?

Bill O'Reilly says he doesn't know why Obama won't say "Jihadist" or "Muslim extremist"... well then, let me enlighten him. He won't because he IS a Muslim and won't put any negative connotation onto his fellow brothers even if it's well deserved and the rest of the world knows it! Yes, Obama is an embarrassment...in more ways than just one!

Now The Government Wants Your 401K!

What the government wants to do is to do away with your 401K...and let THEM handle it. They say it's costing you more money than what you're getting because of rising management fees of your 401K. So, to save you money, the government wants to buy your 401K at the price it would have been worth just a month or two before the market crash in 2008 and then give you a measly 1-3% interest on it. Oh yes! I want my government to manage my retirement fund because they've done SUCH a great job with the other one, called Social Security!!!

The real reason the government wants to do this is because they say they are losing money with our 401K's. How? Because the money you put in, goes in before it is taxed. So let's say you earn $900.00 a week, and have $100.00 put into your 401K weekly. That $100.00 goes in first, and then you're taxed on the remaining $800.00. So, the government figures they are losing money because that $100.00 wasn't taxed. But, what they aren't taking into consideration is that that $100.00 WILL be taxed when you go to finally use it when you retire! In fact, After the age of 70-1/2, you MUST start taking money out in at least minimal amounts annually, determined by IRS actuarial tables depending on your age. This is called your Required Minimum Distribution, or RMD. The penalty for not withdrawing as much as the IRS says you should is 50% of the difference between the RMD and what you actually took out.

What greed! The government isn't losing out on the money, they're just not satisfied to have to wait for it!!! And we ALL know exactly how well our government has managed our tax monies (to the tune of a $16,808,240,386,273 debt!) to date! They have stolen and mismanaged our Social Security funds to the tune that we baby boomers most likely won't get the full amount we planned on for our golden years. Do we really want our government managing our 401K's? I say that they can WAIT for their taxes on our 401K accounts and find the money they say they are losing by waiting for it by lowering the amount they pay each US senator and representative by 25%!

Frankenapple: Bad News No Matter How You Slice It

Thanks to the biotech industry’s relentless quest to control our food, McDonald’s, Burger King and even school cafeterias will soon be able to serve up apples that won’t turn brown when they’re sliced or bitten into. A new, almost entirely untested genetic modification technology, called RNA interference, or double strand RNA (dsRNA), is responsible for this new food miracle. Scientists warn that this genetic manipulation poses health risks, as the manipulated RNA gets into our digestive systems and bloodstreams. The biotech industry claims otherwise. Like any non-organic apple, the new GMO Arctic® Apple will be drenched in toxic pesticide residues, untested by the U.S. Food & Drug Association (FDA) and likely unlabeled. And of course these shiny new high-tech apples will cost less than a pesticide-free, nutrient-dense, old-fashioned organic apple that turns a little brown after you slice it up.

Unless we stop them, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will approve “Frankenapple” this year.

Background

Non-organic apples top the Environmental Working Group’s Dirty Dozen list, for both the volume and the stunning array of pesticides consistently found on them. According to the Pesticide Action Network’s analysis of the most recent USDA data, apples tested positive for 42 pesticides, including organophosphate and pyrethroid pesticides. Both are endocrine disruptors, both have suspected neurological effects, and both are considered especially toxic for children. (Organophosphates are the basis for nerve gases used in chemical warfare, and have been linked to the development of ADHD in kids).

Given such a grim report card, one could argue that it really doesn’t make any difference if we start tinkering with the apple’s genes.

After all, unlike GMO corn or salmon, scientists aren’t injecting pesticides or genes from foreign plants or animals into the genes of apples to create the Frankenapple. They’re “just” adding a synthetic gene that reduces the apple’s ability to produce polyphenol oxidase, an enzyme that causes the apple to turn brown when it’s exposed to oxygen. The synthetic gene contains DNA sequences from four of the apple’s own genes that naturally govern production of polyphenol oxidase. This process of shutting down an organism’s ability to express a specific gene is called RNA interference.

Does RNA interference make the Frankenapple hazardous to human health? OSF, the industry, and some scientists say, no. Others, including Michael Hansen of the Union of Concerned Scientists, say very possibly. Hansen says the process involves “manipulating tiny pieces of RNA which survive human digestion and can have significant impacts on the human body.”

But that’s only the half of it, says Hansen. The chemical compound that is shut off in the engineered fruit, in order to make it not oxidize or brown, is a chemical compound that also fights off plant pests. What happens when the apple’s ability to fend off insects is compromised? Growers will need to spray greater amounts, of possibly even more toxic pesticides, on a crop already saturated with at least 42 types of pesticides.

Honest Americans are Being Lumped Together with Terrorists, Beware!

Minutes after the bomb went off at the Boston Marathon, while emergency crews and brave Bostonians scrambled to help their neighbors, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said it could be homegrown terrorists to blame. 

Soon after, T.V. pundit Chris Matthews goes on air and asks, "…would you as an expert be thinking domestic at this point?" 

Later, David Axelrod, a former Clinton and Obama advisor, let's out on air, "…. I'm sure what was going through the president's mind is – we really don't know who did this – it was tax day. Was it someone who was pro-you know…" 

There's no doubt the U.S. has bad guys, we have the largest prison population in the world. The disturbing thing about these veiled statements is that it pushes the "war on terror" at home narrative, which attempts to justify eroding our civil liberties. 

Since at least September 2005, the U.S. Department of Justice has publicly asserted that Americans who wish for less tax, a smaller government, or a greater adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights may be potential domestic terrorists. 

The FBI has a label for it: Sovereign Citizen. 

What's more, the "U.S. citizen as potential terrorist" narrative is even taught to military cadets at West Point.

Racial Double Standards

You know, I understand and abhor the history of black slavery here in America and that there is still some who treat people wrongly because of their skin color today. With that said...I want to point out that there seems to have been a slant that either has gone unnoticed....or people are afraid to voice, because of the fact that the history of black people's troubles here in America was so horrendous that it just can't be compared to so don't even bother to state the obvious because it can't compare and it's ok for us but it isn't for you because you were the ones who did it to us first and worse! Well, I've never been the one to be so politically correct that when I see injustice and racial bias to keep my opinions to myself...and I'm not about to start now!
You may say, what in the hey is she talking about? Well, here it is.

Remember 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida who was shot by George Zimmerman on February 26 in 2012? Now, I thought (and still do!) that this was just a very sad tragedy and that too much of this happens so unneedlessly today. While watching this....I said to myself...you watch...instead of this staying as a tragic happening that had a lot of misunderstanding involved... the black community is going to play the "race card" and make this into a black-white thing. And sure enough...that is EXACTLY what was done! Nevermind that Zimmerman is not just white, but is also Latino....he LOOKS white, so we'll ignore that he isn't totally so and just blame the whites for this as we all know, it's the white man's fault just as it always has been because look at the not so distant past history of slavery!

So, the Black Panthers put out a bounty on Zimmerman and threatened his life. And what was the reaction by most everyone? Oh, well, that's insignificant because most people condemn the group anyways. Excuse me? Then tell me why is it, that when most people condemn the KKK, if the KKK would put out a bounty on a black person, it would be taken seriously and newsworthy enough to be shouted about for days on end? (Racial double standards!) When you see someone being threatened by a group of extremists just because his skin is of a different color... even WHITE....then it's racist thinking and wrong...PERIOD!

Now, Zimmerman was furthered vilified because Martin was touted as “a good kid, a mild-mannered kid with no criminal record whatsoever" by the Sanford Police Department, the media and his parents. So now, Zimmerman not only shot a BLACK youth, but one that was a very good black youth, so he's the devil incarnate! And everybody else got on board with this and the media ran on this platform with its news reports ad nauseum for days! Well guess what folks? Martin wasn't the little angel everybody made him out to be! "For a variety of reasons, none of them good, elements within the SPD and the Miami-Dade School District Police Department, or M-DSPD, conspired to keep Martin’s criminal history buried. Martin had been suspended twice already that school year (2011/12) for offenses that should have gotten him arrested – once for getting caught with a burglary tool and a dozen items of female jewelry, the second time for getting caught with marijuana and a marijuana pipe. In each case, the case file on Martin was fudged to make the crime less serious than it was". What? Everybody hiding the fact that this youth had a criminal record but was skating by and not being held responsible or accountable for his actions because there was and is pressure from the black community to stop suspending black youths in schools? "School districts across the country had been feeling pressure from the nation’s race hustlers to think twice before disciplining black students. Last year, the White House formalized the pressure with an executive order warning school districts to avoid “methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools.” Yes, this is exactly what is happening as is evident by Jesse Jackson addressing a large April 1, 2012, rally in Sanford, Florida. He implied that Martin had been profiled by his high school for being a black male and suspended for the same reason. “We must stop suspending our children,” Jackson told the crowd.

So, what did all this pressure do? It made a police department FALSIFY police reports so Martin's true record (along with other black youths) couldn't be known! Let's see here...Martin is a known criminal to his school, thus his parents had to have known, he apparently was into drugs...and just days after his non-arrest, he was allowed to wander the streets of Sanford high and alone... looking, in Zimmerman’s immortal words, “like he’s up to no good or he’s on drugs or something.” Looks like Zimmerman called THAT one right, eh?

Had this happened the other way around...and a black man had shot a white youth who was touted as a good boy with no criminal record at all...and it came out later that he did have one, and that his actions on that day could have caused that black man some rightful concern...you bet that the black community would be shouting to the tree tops about racial bias in the white community for falsifying the youth's criminal records and not reporting it and then blaming the black man for shooting the youth when he was only trying to keep his community safe and the media would fall all over itself in reporting this. So, where is the media now? Why aren't they falling all over themselves in reporting that Zimmerman might of actually had a very good reason to be concerned and suspicious? That maybe, just maybe, he WAS being beaten up and just trying to defend himself? They aren't...and why? Because it was a WHITE (?) man who shot a BLACK youth, that's why! And God forbid that we tell the WHOLE story...and maybe put a black youth in the correct light, or at least a more correct light! THAT my dear reader....is called... RACIAL DOUBLE STANDARDS!

Now, don't get me wrong here. I'm not saying that the shooting isn't tragic....because it is. And I'm not saying that Zimmerman was totally correct in his response to the circumstances at hand. What I AM saying is this...there is a SLANT now (and for some time) in our country of black racism towards whites and that it's being tolerated as ok because whites have done it towards blacks in the past. And if whites dare to complain, we are the racist ones and demonized as bad and not worthy of complaining because we did it in the past! Well my friend, racism is WRONG...no matter what the color, and should be shouted from the roof tops when it occurs so that it can be addressed. Racial double standards cannot be tolerated and the news media has to be unbiased and not dictated to by any ONE racial group as to shining a light upon it and reporting it! And for how long are the white people going to be held accountable for the past? I mean, really now. It wasn't the whites today who had slaves. It wasn't the whites today who treated black slaves horribly. How exactly are we to move onwards towards racial equality if the blacks continue to live in the past and point the finger of blame towards others? There comes a point when one must move beyond the blame and work towards making peace. And playing the "race card" whenever something happens to a black person and shouting accusations against other races that turn out to not be so true, isn't conducive towards meeting that end result of equality. It only serves to inflame the racial divide issue and keep the fires of racism alive!

So, I'm standing up...and not being so "politically correct" and doing what is right and shining a light upon a racial inequality and reporting it. It's time now for those of us who are not black to stand up when a racial injustice is done to us and say it's wrong and demand that it is reported loud and clear, so that ALL racial injustice towards ALL races is denounced and not acceptable...and not just for the black race!!

A History Lesson on Democide (When Government Has COMPLETE Control Over Its People)

Today, we sometimes hear that the Second Amendment has outlived its usefulness, that it is a relic of our barbaric past and is no longer needed in the modern era. Horrific mass shootings by deranged individuals are cited as the primary reason for Americans to surrender their most effective firearms and rely solely on a state monopoly of force for their protection. This government-dependent attitude is shortsighted, historically ignorant, and extremely dangerous.

In each of the cases cited above, a necessary preliminary step on the road to democide was the confiscation of privately owned firearms. In Turkey, “reasonable” gun control laws enacted in 1911 permitted the democide of two million Turkish Christians a few years later. In Germany, the “commonsense” 1928 gun control laws of the Weimar Republic preceded Hitler’s Holocaust by a decade.

The Weimar politicians did not intend for their gun control laws to lead to the slaughter of millions of people, but it is an historical fact that those gun control laws permitted the Nazis to carry out their Holocaust. How? By making it economically and militarily feasible to round up and mass murder entire towns without any significant resistance.

In fact, the Nazis quickly learned that they needed only a hundred ordinary military policemen to exterminate towns of a thousand Polish Jews in a single day. Contrast that fact with the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. If the Jews had not first been disarmed, using previous gun registration lists as a map for confiscation, the Holocaust would not have been possible.

Likewise in the Soviet Union and in every other case, democide was preceded by “reasonable and commonsense” firearms registration, followed eventually by gun confiscation and then by the extermination of a despised minority population.

During the past two centuries, while America has avoided tyranny, Turkey, Germany, Russia and the other nations mentioned above have spasmodically lurched between monarchs, democratically elected leaders, and often quite popular dictators, allowing them frequent opportunities to commit democide against their unwanted minorities.

The situation is fundamentally different in America, because we have a centuries-old tradition of private firearms ownership guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution. The Second Amendment does not “grant” us this right; it puts into writing our God-given natural right to effective self-defense, including armed defense against tyranny.

“Pure democracy” has been described as two wolves and a sheep voting on their dinner plans. The two wolves might see this election as an expression of their highest democratic values, but for the outnumbered sheep, pure democracy is highly problematic. On the other hand, a republic has been described as two wolves and a well-armed sheep voting on dinner plans. The well-armed sheep can veto the outcome of the dinner election simply by brandishing its firearm. The sheep has inherent rights as a sovereign individual, including the right to self-defense, a right that cannot be stripped away by a simple majority vote.

So, when a democratically elected American president speaks of “fundamentally transforming” his country, and of his need to act outside the constitutional framework, the population should be on guard. When that leader begins to push for strict new “commonsense and reasonable” gun control laws, including national firearms registration in the name of “public safety,” the citizenry should be on high alert.

Can any glib politician, pundit or ivory tower academic give us an ironclad guarantee that tyranny will never arise in the United States? Adolf Hitler's Common Ground with MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry

By now you've probably seen or heard the MSNBC propaganda piece featuring Melissa Harris-Perry.

In the promo for NBC's 24 hour news network Perry states, "We have to break through our private idea that children belong to their parents, or children belong to their families, and recognize that children belong to whole communities. Once it's everybody's responsibility and not just the household's, we start making better investments."

In 1933 Adolf Hitler made a nearly identical statement on his quest to exterminate millions. Hitler declared in one of his trademark speeches, "When an opponent declares, 'I will not come over to your side,' I calmly say, Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."

It appears the MSNBC host clearly shares some of Adolf Hitler's ideals.

Independent Foreclosure Review Settlement Settles NOTHING!

UPDATE: April 15, 2013:
I received my "settlement" check from the Independent Foreclosure Review scam.... and I fit into the modification denied category...NO surprise since I've been screaming that I was wrongly denied for over 4 years now!!! But, there's no offer for loan modification, no rescinding of my foreclosure offer, no correcting of the servicer record for excess interest, late fees, foreclosure fees, and/or any other improper amounts offer nor correcting my credit report offer. Just a measley $2000.00 when Countrywide over charged me $5000.00 before and I've lost so much more during this 3 1/2 year court battle which should have never happened to begin with had they not wrongly denied me my loan modification in the first place!!!!! AND... I STILL have to fight in my appeal to the Supreme Court so I won't lose my home because the lower court Judge...Justice Paul Fritchze wrongly found for the bank after denying me discovery and saying US Bank owned my note when the "true & accurate" copy of the original first filed to open this case wasn't even endorsed...and guess what? Over $1300.00 of that $2000.00 is gonna have to go towards paying for my fricking fracking court transcripts now for my appeal!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well, I hate to tell y'all this but... I talked with both Rust Consulting AND the Federal Reserve today and found out that of the 17 banks included with the Independent Foreclosure Review...only FOUR STILL are under the Financial Framework of that review: GMAC, Financial Freedom, EverBank/EverHome, One West Bank/IndyMac.  CLICK HERE for the framework. Now, you may think that's good. But it isn't...and here's why. Under the frame work, not only is the bank "error" identified, and a reimbursement/payment made to you...but the bank would also have to do other things...according to each category...to fix that error. For instance, if you were wrongly denied a loan modification....the bank would pay you a certain amount...along with rescinding the foreclosure, giving you the loan modification that you should have gotten, correct servicer record for excess interest, late fees, foreclosure fees, and/or any other improper amounts, and correct credit reports. In other words, put you back whole again before the foreclosure due to their error. 
BUT...now with this settlement between 13 big banks and the Feds & OCC...the ONLY thing these banks have to do...is give you the money! AND... THEY get to decide how much they give you!!!!!! So, they get to keep the foreclosure....sell your house....make you pay any difference between what they get and what is owed...your credit stays bad...and you get a measley amount for your troubles (which you don't really get cause they'll get it back with the difference between the sale price & what you owe!) NICE way to protect the homeowner, eh? 
HERE IS THE NEW FINANCIAL FRAMEWORK for the 13 banks who settled. There's NO protection for the homeowner with required corrections of any happenings due to their "errors". They only have to pay money....and not much of that compared to what they got in enrichment from their "error" to begin with! PLUS....they get to steal your home AND you have to pay the difference between what they sell it for...and what they say was owed (cause we ALL know that when they sell your home, they won't get the full price of what's owed!).

Big Brother Possibly Has Your Info - Without Your Knowledge!

WND WRITES: A team of privacy advocates and experts is launching a lawsuit against the FBI for refusing to provide to the public information about its new Next Generation Identification system, which the federal agency says is in demand among its customers for its biometric database of Americans.

The lawsuit has been filed against the FBI in Washington by the Electronic Privacy Information Center and it is demanding a court order that information about the program’s contracts with private companies as well as its technical specifications be made available.

EPIC confirmed that the NGI system upon completion “will be the largest biometric database in the world” and will include files of fingerprints, DNA profiles. iris scans, palm prints, voice identification profiles, photographs and other identifying information already collected by states, counties – and even schools.

“The FBI will use facial recognition to match images in the database against facial images obtained from CCTV and elsewhere,” the organization said, noting there already are an estimated 30 million spy cameras across the United States.

The complaint explains that the FBI announced in 2009 the NGI system was being created to record, analyze and use biometrics of U.S. citizens – whether they know that their details have been recorded or not.

EPIC followed up shortly later with Freedom of Information Act requests for details about the program’s contracts with private companies – such as who would get access to Americans’ biometrics and why, as well as questions about the technical specifications.

That was because the database was expected to include millions of photographs, fingerprints, voiceprints and other identifiers of people who are not criminals – and are not even suspects in crimes, EPIC said. In fact, they are individuals who probably “are unaware that their images and biometric identifiers were captured.”

One of the circumstances is that some law enforcement officers now are using handheld devices that allow them to “scan irises and faces of individuals and match them against biometric databases.”

Also, some “school districts now are requiring children to provide biometric identifiers, such as palm prints.”

That there is a danger was made clear because a private company was found trying to sell its biometric database of American consumers after its parent company, Verified Identity Pass, collapsed into bankruptcy, the complaint said.

“Personally identifiable information could be lost or misused as a result” of the new program, the complaint said.

Among the private companies thought to be involved are Lockheed Martin, IBM, Accenture, BAE Systems Information Technology, Global Science & Technology, Innovative Management and Technology Services and Platinum Solutions.

States already thought to be providing biometric details to the NGI include Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Although the FBI admitted that it had more than 7,300 pages of documentation that responded to the requests, EPIC has yet to see any, the complaint alleges.

The FBI explains that it launched the biometric database of Americans because of “customer requirements.”

The FBI said it is expected to replace its existing fingerprint ID system, as well as expand the agency’s capabilities into “multimodal functionality.”

“The NGI Program Office mission is to reduce terrorist and criminal activities by improving and expanding biometric identification and criminal history information services through research, evaluation, and implementation of advanced technology,” the FBI explains.

It specifically calls for iris records and search capabilities, palm prints, facial recognition capabilities and other components of a “unimodel” system.

“The framework will be expandable, scalable, and flexible to accommodate new technologies and biometric standards, and will be interoperable with existing systems. Once developed and implemented, the NGI initiatives and multimodal functionality will promote a high level of information sharing, support interoperability, and provide a foundation for using multiple biometrics for positive identification,” the FBI said.

An undercover video investigation by Project Veritas, whose founder James O’Keefe is widely known for his devastating exposé of ACORN, found that journalists with the paper that recently exposed gun-permit holders in the New York City area are unwilling to take a dose of their own medicine and declare their homes “gun-free zones.”

Stops by the team included the homes of Newark Star Ledger columnist Bob Braun, Journal News publisher Janet Hasson, reporter Alex Weisler, Journal News editor Cynthia Lambert and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

O’Keefe’s crew asked journalists whether they would put a sign on their lawn that says “Citizens Against Senseless Violence. THIS HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE!”

Uniformly they were denied permission.

Chicken Little Liberals Global Warming Scare A Hoax!

The so called "science experts" have been screaming about greenhouse gases warming up our climate for over a decade. Even Al Gore got into the act with a couple of books he wrote (although I have absolutely NO clue on what made him a climate expert!). Many were deceived into believing that mankind is mostly to blame for this and we here in America especially. With all our cars, and our indulgent way of living being touted as the main contributors to global warming. Never mind that our great earth goes through its own cycles of periodic weather changes, it's mankind's fault! 
And because of this, the bleeding heart liberals and tree huggers won over reason in making us feel like we're ruining the planet in keeping ourselves warm in the winter with our oil and coal, we're too selfish in driving ourselves to work, or school, or shopping or Lord forbid.... VACATIONING! They made it so that there have been many changes made to our way of life that has cost us much in money and sacrifice....all under the guise that we must stop what we're doing otherwise it will kill our earth and us, with poisoning through greenhouse gases and wild climate changes!

Well, there has been a minority of us who have seen reason and said to all of the above: BULLCHIPS! This amounts to nothing more than a "Chicken Little" state of being and has not much to do with mankind, but has everything to do with earth and its own regular cycle of life! We were pooh-hooed and called names, uncaring and sometimes demonized as destroyers of the earth! Wellllllll....it now seems like we have been vindicated!! 

The Economist has been fairly consistent in its stand that carbon dioxide emissions from man-made sources are the chief cause of global warming. But in an editorial this week, it sounds less certain.

Global warming predictions haven’t panned out as predicted in the past decade, but the why is a bit fuzzy, the magazine admits.

Greenhouse gas emissions have soared during the past 15 years, the magazine notes, with 100 billion tons of carbon having been added to the atmosphere between 2000 and 2010. Still, both air and ground temperatures during that time have remained virtually unchanged.

In fact, the editorial notes, surface temperatures have been at the bottom of the projected range of various models since 2005. If they remain flat, they will actually begin to fall below projections shortly.

“The mismatch between rising greenhouse-gas emissions and not-rising temperatures is among the biggest puzzles in climate science just now,” The Economist said. But with global temperatures up by almost 1 degree Celsius in the last century, the magazine says, “the puzzle does need explaining.”

Buried deep in the highly technical piece, the magazine admits that evidence suggests something that global warming skeptics have long maintained: Natural variations in the earth’s climate likely play a bigger role than scientific models have said.

WOW! Imagine that, eh??!! The earth just may have NATURAL VARIATIONS in it's climate changes!! Wonder where we've heard that before??  OK...I'm gonna say it...
